The Schwarzwald-Marathon is a scenic forest and road race through the Black Forest, with mostly well-maintained woodland paths and a gently rolling profile. Established in 1968, it is renowned as the world’s oldest nature and women’s marathon. Its range of race formats makes it suitable for experienced marathoners, recreational runners, teams, walkers, and young participants.
