SaintéLyon is a demanding nocturnal trail-and-road race across the ridges of the Monts du Lyonnais, combining mostly trails with sections of pavement. Its iconic stream of headlamps between Saint-Étienne and Lyon, winter conditions, and long history make it a French running institution. It suits experienced runners, though shorter formats welcome newcomers to trail running.
