MOUNTAINMAN Reit im Winkl is a mountain trail-running and hiking festival through the Chiemgau Alps, combining forest paths, alpine meadows, steep climbs and varied singletrack. Its distinctive route network crosses the Bavaria–Tyrol–Salzburg border area, with landmarks including Winklmoosalm, Steinplatte, Klausenbachklamm and views toward the Wilder Kaiser. Shorter trails suit newcomers, while the longer mountain courses demand experienced trail runners.
