Karnisches Ungetüm is a demanding alpine ultratrail along the Karnischer Höhenweg, traversing the spectacular border landscapes of the Carnic Alps between Austria and Italy. Its midnight start, remote mountain setting, and reputation as one of Austria’s toughest ultratrails make it best suited to experienced mountain runners prepared for a serious, self-sufficient challenge.
